Anil Menon, M.D.
Dr. Menon is currently practicing emergency medicine and aerospace medicine with an interest in technology, telemedicine, wilderness medicine, and disaster care. He graduated from Harvard University magna cum laude with highest honors in neurobiology, studied language in India the following year, and began medical school at Stanford University. At Stanford he earned an MS in mechanical engineering, completed his MD, and continued with a residence in emergency medicine and a fellowship in wilderness medicine.
His work in remote medicine took him to Mount Everest base camp and Haiti's general hospital 4 days after the earthquake. Currently, he is working at Memorial Hermann Hospital, completed a fellowship in aerospace medicine at UTMB/NASA, and began working in Star City, Russia to support NASA operations. In addition, he is a Major in the Oregon Air National Guard and has deployed to Afghanistan with the 129th Rescue Squadron in 2009 and for Critical Care Air Transport in 2012.
