Volunteer Global was created in order to educate prospective volunteers about international service programs, including where you can go, what you can do, and how to get there.
I've been nuts about volunteering and international affairs since I was a kid. My parents bought me books about environmental conservation, human rights, and development, and I joined every club and community volunteer group I could find. I went to college in Washington, DC, worked at an international volunteer agency, and learned quite a lot. Cool!
